Continuous Improvement Engineer – Wanze
What are your responsibilities as a Continuous Improvement Engineer?
a Continuous Improvement Engineer at our production site in Wanze enhances industrial performance by reducing waste, increasing efficiency and ensuring quality through Lean and Six Sigma tools, while driving cross-functional, data-driven improvements.
Process analysis and optimisation: conduct audits, time studies and bottleneck analyses to improve productivity.
• Waste reduction: identify and eliminate non-value-added activities (muda) in production lines.
• Root cause analysis: use A3, Fishbone and PDCA methodologies to resolve recurring issues and prevent reoccurrence.
• Data-driven decision-making: monitor key indicators (OEE, yield, cost savings) to identify opportunities and measure project success.
• How can you strengthen our teams?
A degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Production Engineering) is generally required.
• Methodologies: strong expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools.
• Interpersonal skills: excellent communication, leadership and project management skills to influence teams without direct authority. Technical tools: proficiency in data analysis, mapping tools (e.g. VSM) and project management software.
• CI Engineers work closely with production teams, management and operators to ensure improvements are not only implemented but also sustained.
• Languages: full professional proficiency in French and English (spoken and written); any additional language is a plus.
