ICT Security Analyst

Brussels | Full-time | Permanent contract


About the role

We are looking for an experienced ICT Security Analyst to strengthen an organisation’s overall security posture. In this role, you will act as the bridge between IT operations and Information Security governance, ensuring that risks are monitored, managed, and mitigated effectively.

You will play a key role in translating security objectives into concrete actions, robust processes, and measurable outcomes, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.


Your responsibilities

Security Operations & Incident Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for external SOC alerts and security requests
  • Monitor, analyse, and manage security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities
  • Coordinate incident response with internal teams and external partners
  • Oversee endpoint and identity security (MFA, EDR, MDM, patching)
  • Support initiatives such as vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security awareness

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Identify gaps in ICT security processes and implement improvements
  • Maintain and update security policies and procedures
  • Configure and manage key security tools (firewalls, EDR, vulnerability platforms)
  • Propose and implement solutions to strengthen the security environment

Governance, Compliance & Collaboration

  • Ensure alignment with Information Security governance and risk frameworks
  • Maintain documentation, metrics, and reporting on security activities
  • Support compliance and resilience initiatives (e.g. audits, testing, training)
  • Translate security recommendations into a prioritised roadmap


Your profile

Education & Experience

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in Security Operations and SOC environments
  • Strong understanding of SIEM tools and security monitoring
  • Broad technical knowledge: cloud, network, endpoint protection, identity management
  • Experience in incident response and forensic analysis
  • Familiarity with standards or regulations such as NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA is a plus
  • Fluent in English; additional European language(s) are an asset
