About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatrician Assistant to support our paediatric team in delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents.
This role plays a key part in clinical preparation, patient monitoring, vaccination support, and ensuring a safe, child-centred environment for families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pediatrician during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures
- Prepare examination rooms, instruments, and medical documentation
- Measure and record paediatric vital signs, including height, weight, temperature...
- Support vaccination procedures and ensure accurate medical documentation
- Monitor child comfort and provide reassurance to patients and parents
- Maintain strict hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols
- Coordinate appointments and support clinical administrative tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in paediatrics, family medicine, or clinical assistance (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with children and parents
- High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Organised, accurate, and able to work in a structured clinical environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Nice to Have
- Certified Medical Assistant or Healthcare Assistant qualification
- Experience in childhood vaccination programmes
- Knowledge of child development milestones
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
