Field Service Engineer (Clean Track)

Our client is a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. They are seeking a Field Service Engineer with Clean Track expertise to deliver world-class on-site support at a leading-edge research fab. This is a pivotal role providing hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced coater/developer systems in a high-tech cleanroom environment.

What You’ll Do
- Perform on-site installations, modifications, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of Clean Track systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance, system check-outs, and approve operational quality.
- Coordinate technical and administrative support for site activities, including engineering change upgrades and FCN implementation.
- Instruct customers on system operation/maintenance, provide management reports, and respond to critical situations.
- Collaborate with customer teams and internal structures (BU, GCE, administration) while maintaining records and systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential Clean Track (CT) tools experience; previous Field Service or Start-Up Engineer role in semiconductor equipment is a plus.
- Technical background: Successfully passed highest-level secondary school exams, engineering certificate, or apprenticeship (electrical/mechanical/fitter); related experience considered.
- High-level Japanese reading and speaking desirable (not essential) for tool documentation and factory communication.
- Familiarity with analytical troubleshooting tools; ability to develop solutions/modifications while liaising with Japan.
- Strong organization, flexibility, numeracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
