Christian Wijnants is an Antwerp-based designer who graduated from the Royal Academy of Art fashion department in 2000 and started his label in 2003. The womenswear collection is known for its luxurious knitwear and translation into textural prints.
Job Description
This is a full time
hands-on role in a small team , requiring an active presence on the shop floor and day-to-day involvement in sales, operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the retail store and act as a role model on the shop floor Be personally and consistently involved in day-to-day selling, driving individual and store sales targets Act as the first point of contact for customers and handling first-line customer service. Process and coordinate online orders, which are fulfilled and shipped directly from store stock Oversee stock management, including deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and stockroom organization Ensure daily maintenance and overall presentation of the store Hire, train, and develop the retail team Work closely with headquarters in Antwerp to align on visual merchandising, brand standards, and expectations Recap monthly store performance and report on current business trends Participate in seasonal collection buying at our Antwerp showroom
Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience within a luxury sales environment Must be proficient in Excel, CRM, POS and digital literacy Fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch, French is a plus A good understanding of the contemporary and luxury fashion scene Good analytical and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including early evenings, weekends and holidays when required
