Bij Allison Transmissions Bruges, een internationale speler zoeken we een Product Engineer om onze transmissieproducten te optimaliseren en te verbeteren. Jij bent de drijvende kracht achter kostreducties, technische innovaties en managet de productconfiguraties

Wat ga je doen?

• Opzetten en leiden van verbeterprojecten voor jouw toegewezen producten
• Organiseren van kostenreductieworkshops en analyseren van voorstellen
• Beheren van productconfiguraties en technische documentatie
• Onderzoeken en oplossen van non-conformiteiten (scrap, rework, veldcampagnes)
• Adviseren van interne teams en klanten over technische haalbaarheid en kostenefficiëntie
• Coördineren van projecten en ondersteunen bij nieuwe productlanceringen

Jouw profiel:

• Master Electromechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
• Kennis van hydraulica, mechanica en productieprocessen
• Vloeiend in het Nederland en Engels (Duits en Frans zijn een plus)
• Analytisch, proactief en sterk in samenwerking
• Ervaring met CAD; PLM; Matlab of Python is een troef
• Je staat open om beperkt te reizen (5% van je tijd)

Product Engineer

Location: Bruges/hybride

Are you a technical expert ready to make an impact?

At Allison Transmissions Bruges an international player, we are looking for a Product Engineer to optimize and improve our existing transmission products. You will lead cost-reduction initiatives, standardization projects, and technical innovations.

Your responsibilities:

• Set up and lead improvement projects for your assigned products
• Organize cost-reduction workshops and analyze proposals
• Manage product configurations and technical documentation
• Investigate and resolve non-conformities (scrap, rework, field campaigns)
• Advise internal teams and customers on technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate projects and support new product launches

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and production processes
• Fluent in Dutch and English (German and French are a plus)
• Analytical, proactive, and strong team player
• Experience with CAD, PLM, Matlab, or Python is an asset
