who is ramping up automation projects across multiple production lines. Due to increased workload and upcoming upgrade projects, we are looking for an experienced
Freelance PLC Engineer
with strong
Siemens control systems
expertise. This is a hands-on role focused on PLC programming, commissioning and production line optimisation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
⚙️ Responsibilities PLC programming and modification (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) Commissioning of new and upgraded production lines Troubleshooting and optimisation of automated processes Integration of drives, sensors, HMIs and SCADA systems Supporting FAT / SAT and on-site testing Working closely with maintenance and production teams
️ Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with
Siemens PLCs (S7 / TIA Portal mandatory) Proven background in
food & beverage manufacturing environments Experience with production lines (filling, packaging, conveying, mixing etc.) Commissioning and troubleshooting experience Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, etc.) Able to work independently on site
Nice to have: SCADA / HMI experience (WinCC or similar) Experience with hygienic production environments Knowledge of safety PLCs
Profile Freelance / self-employed status Hands-on and pragmatic Comfortable working in production environments Strong problem-solving mindset Dutch and/or English speaking
