Senior Mechanical Construction Manager Charleroi, Belgium Salary:

Up to €140,000 + Bonus + Flights + Private Accommodation + Travel + Tax-Free Allowance

Job Description As a Senior Mechanical Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing construction projects from conception through to completion. You will review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, while overseeing all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver complex, cutting-edge projects.

Key responsibilities include: Determining project schedule requirements and supporting the development of project schedules Preparing and managing 12-week look-ahead programmes Reporting on site progress and highlighting future issues/roadblocks to the Main Contractor and Contracts Manager Conducting regular site safety walks and ensuring timely close-out of actions Conducting regular quality inspections and ensuring prompt resolution of issues Leading commissioning activities, ensuring timely completion and proactive resolution of roadblocks

Skills & Requirements 10+ years’ experience in a Construction Manager / Senior Supervisor role (pharmaceutical experience essential) 5+ years’ experience managing teams (up to 10 supervisors and 100+ craft personnel), including manpower planning, execution and productivity management Experience with weekly reporting to a Contracts Manager Excellent technical knowledge of piping (supporting, installation, welding, testing, sloping and handover) Strong understanding of quality requirements associated with piping installation Proficient in Navisworks 3D model navigation, isometric drawings, and supervisor work pack monitoring Strong experience managing project schedules Commercial awareness Good knowledge of construction health & safety requirements, including implementation of RAMS, SPAs and other H&S processes Background in piping installation; hygienic piping and orbital welding experience advantageous Third-level qualification in Construction / Mechanical Engineering (advantageous)
