Automation Specialist

To support the development of our Engineering Design Office and accompany new pharma/chemical projects, we are seeking an Automation Expert to strengthen our technical team. You will contribute to the definition and coordination of automation activities within the detail design phase. This position plays a strategic role in expanding our engineering offering.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

You will be responsible for defining Automation & Control requirements during the detail design phase:

• Translate process needs into functional specifications (URS, FS)
• Define automation architecture: DCS/PLC, field networks, smart instrumentation
• Prepare I/O lists, interlock definitions, cause & effect matrices
• Support coordination with the client’s internal automation team
• Participate in technical reviews, HAZOP, and FAT/SAT documentation
• Ensure compliance with pharma standards (GAMP5, GMP, data integrity)

ABOUT YOU:

• Degree in automation, electrical engineering, or electromechanics
• 5 years’ minimum experience in automation within the pharma/chemical industry
• Knowledge of common DCS/PLC systems (DeltaV, PCS7, ABB, Schneider, etc.)
• Strong technical writing capabilities
• Fluent in French and English
• Available as soon as possible
