IT Support engineer


Our client is an IT company located in the southwest of Brussels, specialized in integrating IT solutions for the Belgian healthcare sector. The company supports organizations in their digital transformation through high-speed Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, multimedia solutions, digital workplace solutions, and managed services. You will join a people-oriented, growing organization where initiative, collaboration, and impact are central. Job DescriptionAs a member of the technical team, you are a key figure in managing and resolving IT incidents and requests, as well as installing and deploying solutions at client sites. You work both remotely and on-site, following internal procedures, ITIL best practices, and quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for coordinating incident resolution for end usersHandling IT incidents and service requests with a focus on quality and user experienceApplying the escalation matrix and correctly referring issues to N+1 or specialized teamsMaintenance, support, and troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, servers, printers, VoIP, Wi-Fi, MDM, and network infrastructureInstallation and configuration of IT systems at client sitesPerforming mass deployments according to company standardsDiagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network failuresProviding technical support on-site or via remote management toolsAccurate documentation of all actions in tickets and obtaining client signatures for on-site interventions Profile3 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large organization (+1000 employees) and/or multi-client environmentFluent in Dutch and sufficient French for communication with French-speaking clientsStrong knowledge of Microsoft environments and IP protocolsExcellent understanding of Wi-Fi networksGood knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, request, change management)Experience with ticketing tools such as JIRA, EasyVista, or ServiceNowPlus: experience with RMM tools (NinjaOne, Atera, Helix BMC)Analytical, solution-oriented, strong communication skills, autonomous, and a team playerDriving license B required What Our Client OffersA stimulating work environment where technology serves people and projects have social impactA full-time permanent contract with a competitive salaryAttractive fringe benefits: meal vouchers, DKV hospitalization insurance, company car with fuel card, mobile phone with subscription, and professional laptopFixed expense allowanceReal development opportunities through continuous training, technical growth, and career advancementThe opportunity to be part of a close-knit, passionate team where initiative and ideas are valued
