Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Are you an experienced SAP consultant ready to grow into a leading consultant role where ownership and impact truly matter? Do you enjoy guiding customers, tackling complex technical challenges, and playing a key role in pre‑sales conversations?

You bring solid experience in SAP BASIS and demonstrate the qualities of a (potential) SAP Architect. You are familiar with and interested in SAP’s S/4HANA strategy and have strong knowledge of HANA, migrations, upgrades, Cloud, BTP, operating systems, and databases. Confident in customer discussions, you combine technical depth with strategic insight.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work as a senior SAP Basis Consultant with a strong focus on cloud, innovation, and customer leadership. Most work is done remotely, with occasional on‑site visits in the Brussels region.

Your role will include

• Taking ownership of complex SAP Basis issues and guiding them to resolution.
• Supporting pre‑sales will be an important part of your role as well.
• Acting as a trusted advisor during assessments, implementations, and transitions.
• You’ll work with a wide range of topics, including: SAP S/4 HANA administration, Cloud BTP, Operating Systems, SAP RISE Private / Public Cloud, SUM/DMO, ...Identifying improvement areas in SAP operations and architecture.
• Experimenting with automation, scripts, and new platform engineering practices.

We’re a close knit of 19 consultant colleagues where you will be part of our Platform hub with a focus on SAP platform solutions. We’re building our SAP platform engineering capability with ambition. You’ll play a key role in shaping it.

With deareware offices in Ghent, Antwerp, Kortrijk, Lummen, Wavre and Liège. Most of the team is located in Ghent or Kortrijk office. You’ll either collaborate from one of our vibrant hubs; surrounded by colleagues who love to share knowledge or work onsite with customers who value your hands‑on partnership and expe.

• You have over 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• You have experience in pre‑sales projects
• You love working with SAP Basis and are excited by SAP cloud technologies.
• You get energy from taking ownership and driving improvements.
• You speak Dutch fluently, French is a plus.
