ph3Overview /h3pSenior Engineer for Offshore Energy projects at Jan De Nul. As an experienced engineer, you will lead one of our major offshore projects from start to finish, contributing to offshore wind, rock installation, submarine cables, and energy islands. The role supports the transition to renewable energy and involves collaboration with multiple departments and project managers. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCoordinate projects from concept to delivery, from the Aalst office, on one of our projects worldwide, or aboard one of our ships. /liliSchedule, draft, detail, and calculate execution methods for offshore works (rock dumping, cable laying, foundations, and installation of offshore wind farms). /liliDevelop related documentation into calculation notes and method statements. /liliSupervise current works and handle follow-up after completion in collaboration with Project Management. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliA master’s degree in industrial or civil engineering sciences or related degree. /liliFive years of engineering experience. /liliSolution-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills. /liliKeen interest in marine construction. /liliAbility to guide people, strong planning and organizational talent, and excellent teamwork skills. /liliSense of adventure with the ability to work independently. /li /ulh3Working at Jan De Nul /h3pWe offer opportunities to collaborate across departments, support from JDN Academy, and a culture focused on learning and delivering solutions for energy transition, smart mobility, and sustainable infrastructure. /ph3Work Rhythm /h3pAt the Aalst office: 40-hour week with occasional work-from-home opportunities. On ships: six weeks at sea with twelve-hour days, seven days a week, followed by six weeks off.
