Senior Competition Lawyer

Associate Director – Competition Law We are partnering with a global organisation to appoint a strategic and dynamic Competition Lawyer to support its European operations across a wide range of competition law matters. The role offers a key part in shaping the transformation of the organisation’s global legal function. Responsibilities Define and implement competition compliance strategy. Advise on merger control and broader competition law issues. Review and strengthen internal policies, including dawn raid procedures. Monitor regulatory and policy developments across relevant jurisdictions. Provide competition and merger control advice in connection with acquisitions and distribution structures. Qualifications Minimum 8+ years PQE with strong academic credentials. Robust competition law experience within a reputable in‑house legal team, covering multiple jurisdictions. Broad‑range expertise in abuse of dominance, horizontal and vertical agreements, M&A matters, and designing and implementing competition‑law compliance programmes. Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen and adaptability. A hands‑on approach and flexibility to support other workstreams as required. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior.
