Cyber Security Engineer


ppThe Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for safeguarding the security of IT components in DPD Belux. In this dynamic and critical role, you’ll ensure strict adherence to security policies and drive compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Your efforts directly contribute to minimizing cybersecurity risks and enabling swift acting in the event of security breaches. /ppbWhat will you do in this role? /b /ppbOperational: /b /ppInvestigate security incidents triggered by tools such as EDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR and PAM. /ppConduct threat hunting and translating these technical findings/logs into insights and actions through reports and storytelling tailored to the business stakeholders. /ppResponsible for vulnerability management. /ppContinuously propose and implement security improvements to our operational IT systems. /ppAccurate reporting and documentation are essential in this role. You’ll produce clear and concise reports on phishing, vulnerability, incidents and investigations. /ppbCompliance: /b /ppEnsure DPD Belux remains compliant with cybersecurity regulations, including timely adherence to NIS2 requirements. /ppCollaborate with various departments to identify cybersecurity and compliancy risks in their processes and workflows. /ppEnsure accurate and up-to-date evidence of compliance. /ppOver time, you’ll also support and formulate responses to client audits. /ppbProject management: /b /ppIn collaboration with the infra team, you’ll be involved in the implementation of new technologies and phase out of legacy systems. /ppTake part in key security projects, such as setting up an external SOC, implementation of new security tools or supporting and follow up of cybersecurity initiatives proposed by Geopost. /ph3Your profile /h3pbWhat do we have to offer you? /b /ppThe opportunity to make a difference in a professional and international environment /ppAn enthusiastic team where everyone wants to move forward /ppPermanent contract, start as soon as possible.
