Senior project engineer


ppWe are seeking a highly qualified senior project engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Soignies, Belgium. /p pThis role requires a professional who can effectively manage complex engineering projects from inception to completion. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLeading engineering projects through all phases, from planning to execution and closure. /li liManaging project costs and budgets to ensure financial objectives are met. /li liIdentifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. /li liPresenting project proposals and progress reports to senior management. /li liOverseeing the procurement of capital equipment for manufacturing processes. /li liDeveloping innovative manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. /li liCollaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals. /li liResolving complex technical issues that arise during project execution. /li liMaintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards. /li liReviewing and approving technical drawings and specifications. /li liManaging and mentoring project team members to foster professional growth. /li liServing as a technical advisor for junior engineers and project stakeholders. /li liConducting thorough technical reviews of all engineering‑related project components. /li liImplementing process improvements to enhance overall manufacturing capabilities. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 bEducation /b ul liMaster's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) is required. /li /ul bProfessional Experience /b ul liMinimum of 7 years of experience in engineering project management, with a strong preference for manufacturing or factory environment expertise. /li /ul bTechnical Proficiencies /b ul liComprehensive understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies. /li liAdvanced proficiency in project management software, including but not limited to Microsoft Project and Primavera. /li liDemonstrated skill in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. /li liWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or comparable process improvement methodologies is highly advantageous. /li /ul bEssential Competencies /b ul liProven leadership abilities and effective team management skills. /li liSuperior communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas to stakeholders at all organizational levels. /li liExceptional problem‑solving and analytical capabilities, crucial for navigating complex engineering challenges. /li liDemonstrated ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects concurrently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 h3What we offer /h3 ul li pFinancial Health Benefits: Enjoy company‑paid Pension, Life and Hospitalization insurance.
