You will also act as a key technical reference, driving innovation and continuous improvement across our mechanical systems. /p h3Challenges we trust you with /h3 ul liSupervise, coach, and develop a team of mechanical designers and draftsmen to ensure growth, motivation, and performance. /li liPlan and allocate resources effectively according to project timelines and priorities. /li liCoordinate closely with cross‑functional teams (electronics, industrialization, quality, etc.) to ensure smooth collaboration. /li liTechnical Project Oversight ul liDefine and validate mechanical design specifications in collaboration with system owners and product managers. /li liOversee project progress, design reviews, and key deliverables to ensure quality and on‑time delivery. /li liManage technical risks and proactively propose solutions that balance innovation and feasibility. /li /ul /li liMechanical Expertise Innovation ul liValidate mechanical solutions and guide technical choices across complex system designs. /li liSupport the team with hands‑on input on 3D modeling, simulations, and materials. /li liMonitor industry trends and contribute to design innovation and technical differentiation. /li /ul /li liTrack key performance metrics (quality, cost, lead time) and act on deviations. /li liOptimize design processes and maximize the efficiency of CAD/PLM tools. /li liCapture lessons learned from projects and formalize best practices for team‑wide adoption. /li /ul h3What we value /h3 pYou have: /p ul liA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. /li liBetween 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering. /li liAt least 3 years in a people management or team leadership role. /li liAdvanced skills in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or similar). /li liStrong understanding of mechanical calculations and FEA (Finite Element Analysis). /li liSolid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal. /li /ul h3And you also are /h3 ul liA natural leader who inspires, coaches, and supports your team. /li liStructured and rigorous in how you manage priorities, risks, and resources. /li liHands‑on and pragmatic—you get things done and know when to dive into the detail. /li liQuality‑driven and committed to ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. /li liAn excellent communicator, able to coordinate effectively across departments and cultures. /li liPassionate about engineering, innovation, and continuous learning. /li /ul h3Life at IBA /h3 pAt IBA, we value creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
