Senior Software Engineer

Overview

We\'re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrations team, specialising in building and maintaining scalable services for seamless integrations . You\'ll collaborate with talented engineers eager to learn from your experience and guidance. As a seasoned professional, you\'ll bring a wealth of external knowledge to help us scale our existing foundation. You\'re a strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment, and you find fulfilment in helping colleagues achieve their full potential.

What you\'ll do

• Mentor at any level: provide constructive feedback, conduct code reviews, and offer technical guidance to more junior engineers and your peers
• Help with System Design: participate in designing and implementing systems and in optimising current ones for performance and/or cost control
• Bring your best practices to the table: championing software development standards, testing methodologies, and efficient development processes
• Strategic Vision: participate in defining project roadmaps, contributing to risk assessment, execution, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery
• Collaboration: working closely with cross-functional product teams to understand and translate requirements into solutions

Who you are

• You have 4+ years of practical experience in a software engineering role
• You\'ve gained deep expertise in building serverless Python microservices on AWS
• You have system design experience for integrations with Workday, SAP, ServiceNow or other HR tools
• You\'re proficient in software development methodologies
• You\'ve demonstrated excellent mentorship and communication skills
• You\'re based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week.
