Lead Technical Specialist (M/V/X) – Touring Careers

Touring is looking for a Lead Technical Specialist (teamleader developers) to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The role combines people management, technical ownership of architecture, cloud development and continuous improvement of our IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design, development, testing, deployment and support of internal IT solutions, from front‑end and back‑end components to APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with the Lead Architect, QA Lead and Lead Analyst to define technical approaches and produce design documentation.
• Guide and coach a team of developers, ensuring code quality, technical debt reduction, secure coding practices, and adherence to architectural standards.
• Plan and deliver on development cycles, prioritising work, meeting deadlines and SLA requirements.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and evolve the cloud infrastructure and architecture, primarily within Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Strong technical and functional insight; experience in developing internal applications and automations (Power Automate, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, API Management, Power Platform and Azure Integration Platform is preferred.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, PM² or Prince2 methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication and mentoring skills.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Architect Expert, SAFe, Scrum Master/PO are a plus.
