We handle diverse workloads, including batch and stream processing. By processing everyday terabytes of data that feed dashboards and web APIs, we empower Carrefour to leverage data-driven insights and support their business growth. /li libBig Pharma International Company: /b Orange Business migrated a Drug Discovery Data Platform hosted on-premises from a Hadoop stack to Azure. During the migration, we improved various data flows to reduce processing time, implemented proactive data quality checks, and optimized the CI/CD pipelines. Our efforts resulted in a more efficient and reliable platform, allowing scientists to quickly and safely assess the potential of tested molecules for new drugs development. /li libFor Paradigm, /b Orange Business created a data platform and a unified set of tools for all public sector to conduct data projects, with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps processes to enable self-service and standardization. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovative data solutions and leveraging the full potential of data technologies at scale. /p ul liLead the design and implementation of modern data platform architectures. /li liDrive the development of robust data pipelines and storage solutions using cutting-edge technologies, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. /li /ul ul libMentorship and Team Guidance: /b Mentor and guide a team of Data Engineers, ensuring project success and technical excellence. /li libClient Engagement and Strategy /b: Partner with clients to define and implement strategic, data-driven solutions. /li libIndustry Trends and Monitoring: /b Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and obtain relevant certifications to ensure the application of best practices in data architecture. /li libTechnologies: /b Sourcing, capturing, transforming, and preparing data using the newest technologies such as Kafka, Spark, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, Databricks, Airflow, Elasticsearch, and many more. /li /ul h3Who you are: /h3 pWhat matters most for this role /p ul liInterest in bdigital transformation /b and bdata-driven /bsolutions /li libProactive mindset /b and boutside the box thinking /b to tackle challenges. /li liYou are able to bexplain technical concepts to a non-technical audience /b. /li liYou excel inb interpersonal communication /b and know how to have a bprofessional and commercial approach /b with customers. /li liYou value bcollaboration /b as a way to succeed /li liStrong bcommunication /b and bpresentation /b skills in bEnglish + French or English /b /li /ul h3Your technical expertise: /h3 ul libA master’s degree /borb PhD /bin Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, Physics or any related field /li libAt least 5 years professional experience /b with data related ICT projects. /li /ul ul liExperience with Modern Data platform architecture rollout from conception to implementation. /li liDeep understanding of data modeling techniques, including relational (Kimball, normalization) and NoSQL databases. /li /ul ul libCloud Platforms: /b Experience with at least one Cloud platform (Azure, Google cloud, AWS). /li libData warehouse: /b Experience with Cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse Analytics, Redshift). /li libData Processing: /b /li /ul ul liAdvanced SQL skills, with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries for large datasets. /li liExperience with SQL orchestration tool such as DBT or Dataform. /li /ul ul libProgramming: /b Experience with at least one programming language: Python, Scala, Java, etc. /li libDevOps methodologies: /b Strong experience with CI/CD processes and tools (GIT, Azure DevOps, GitLab). /li /ul h3It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be: /h3 h3Deployment Orchestration: /h3 ul liKnowledge of Docker and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Openshift, AKS, GKE...) with experience in deploying and managing containerized applications /li liExperience with micro-services event-driven architecture /li /ul ul libScripting Unix: /b Knowledge of Unix environments scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell,… /li libData Modeling Concepts: /b Knowledge of the Data Mesh concept Experience with the DataVault 2.0 modeling methodology /li /ul h3Why you should join us: /h3 ul liA bcommunity of experts /b - as Digital Natives, we put innovation at the heart of our expertise.
