ph3Oracle EBS Applications DBA for NATO with security clearance /h3 pBe among the first 25 applicants. 4 days ago /p pbWould you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organization? /b /p pThe Oracle E-Business Suite Applications Database Administrator (Apps DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, security, and continuous availability of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application and its underlying database environment. This role combines deep technical expertise in Oracle Database administration with specialized knowledge of the Oracle EBS application architecture. The incumbent will ensure the stable operation, optimal performance, and proactive maintenance of critical business systems, supporting key financial, acquisition, and travel processes. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the development and reviewing of documentation such as requirements definitions, functional and technical design documents, systems specifications and other deliverables. /li liParticipate in and perform testing activities and readiness assessments. /li liDevelop test scenarios for User Acceptance testing (UAT). /li liFollow project approach and methodology. /li liParticipate in frequent (daily, weekly) meetings with the team, observing team schedule. /li liProvide briefings and presentations. /li liParticipate in UAT and review UAT results. /li liProvide training for key users. /li /ul h3Essential Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liA minimum of 15 years recent practical experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite DBA, demonstrating a 60‑month sustained period of performance on the previous two most recent assignments. In this capacity, the consultant must have performed duties such as installing, upgrading, and supporting (patching, troubleshooting, tuning) Oracle E-Business Suite software and the associated Oracle technology stack in a multi‑tier/multi‑node/multi‑platform environment. /li liExperience managing multiple Oracle installations on large systems. Conversant with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (or higher) and Oracle Database 19c (or higher) product versions in Linux environments. /li liPractical experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database backup/recovery (RMAN), configuration, sizing, space management, monitoring, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting and administration. /li liExpertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (or higher) technical architecture, including knowledge of the underlying database architecture, with particular reference to schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes and constraints. /li liSound knowledge of and proven practical experience with IaaS, PaaS SaaS solutions delivered through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms. /li liBroad knowledge of and proven practical experience with WebLogic application server and proven ability in dealings with Forms/Reporting/Apache Web servers and configuring, troubleshooting and tuning. /li liSound knowledge of and proven practical experience with advanced topology elements like shared APPL_TOP, Oracle Clusterware, Rapid Application Cluster (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Demilitarized Zones (DMZ) and disaster recovery solutions. /li liSound knowledge of and proven practical experience with advanced security implementations of Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 (or higher). /li liSound knowledge of and proven practical experience with Oracle’s Enterprise Manager 13g or higher and Oracle’s Enterprise Manager Application Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite. /li liSound knowledge of and proven practical experience UNIX/Linux/Windows and good automation (UNIX/Linux/PowerShell scripting) skills. /li /ul pIf you've read the description and feel this role is a great match, we would love to hear from you!
