Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, acquisition targets, and partnership opportunities. Analyse competitor data and market conditions impacting transactions. Financial Analysis and valuation: Build financial models to evaluate performance and prospects of acquisition targets. Apply valuation methods such as DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions. Document preparation: Contribute to pitch books, Information Memorandums, and client presentations. Assist in drafting and reviewing key transaction documents (LOIs, term sheets, purchase agreements). Project management: Support due diligence by preparing datarooms. Coordinate meetings, manage timelines, and ensure smooth stakeholder alignment. Maintain documentation and update internal databases with deal details. Communication and collaboration: Liaise with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders for data gathering and information flow. Work closely with colleagues across practices to ensure integrated solutions. M&A activity monitoring: Prepare regular reports on ongoing M&A activity and closed deals. Analyse post-transaction outcomes to assess success and extract lessons for future projects. What do you bring to the table? Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field; finance certifications (CFI, CFA, etc.) are a plus. Up to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting or professional services. Excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is a strong asset. Strong foundations in accounting, valuation methodologies, and M&A processes. Advanced Excel skills with expertise in corporate finance applications. Proficient in PowerPoint for creating impactful reports A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
