Mechanical Engineer

For our client active in industrial piping based in the Charleroi region, involved in a variety of technical projects in the data center, life sciences, chemical, and energy sectors, we are looking for a Design Piping Engineer.

Integrated into multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to the design and reliability of complex industrial installations.

This position is part of a demanding environment focused on quality, safety, and technical performance.

Mission:

• Perform stress calculations and analyses of piping networks in accordance with applicable ASME and EN standards.
• Design piping supports (rigid, spring, dynamic supports) and carry out structural analyses of steel structures (frames, racks, platforms) in compliance with current standards.
• Carry out numerical modeling to verify the proper behavior and overall reliability of structures and installations.
• Produce technical documentation: calculation notes, analysis reports, load plans, PED-compliant files, and client requirement documentation.
• Collaborate with design teams, draftsmen, project managers, and suppliers to ensure compliance, quality, and adherence to deadlines.

Profile:

• Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in piping stress analysis and/or structural mechanics.
• Proficiency in CAESAR II, Robot Structural Analysis, and SCIA software.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31, EN 13480 / 13445, and API standards.
• Analytical, rigorous, and structured mindset, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English (C1-C2). French is a strong asset.
