Business Analyst Marketing Automation


Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional expert for Adobe Campaign, translating marketing strategies into scalable and compliant solutions.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements related to campaigns, workflows, and data integrations.
  • Design and optimize campaign workflows including targeting, segmentation, personalization, and scheduling.
  • Define user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and process flows tailored to Adobe Campaign capabilities.
  • Configure and enhance workflows for performance, scalability, and error handling.
  • Analyze campaign KPIs (delivery, open rates, CTR, conversions) and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity, GDPR compliance, and proper opt-in/opt-out management.
  • Document audit trails and approval processes for mandatory or high-risk communications.
  • Act as liaison between marketing, IT, and Adobe Campaign administrators.
  • Facilitate workshops, validate requirements, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Take end-to-end ownership of Adobe Campaign projects from requirements to deployment.
  • Manage traceability, impact analysis, and risk assessment for changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and innovation in campaign processes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Marketing Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign (implementation, configuration, testing, rollout).
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, user story creation, and functional documentation.
  • Strong understanding of campaign workflows, segmentation, and personalization logic.
  • Experience with CRM integrations, APIs, data models, and schema extensions.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulated communications (GDPR, financial services).
  • Experience defining and executing UAT test cases.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and accountable.
  • Strong communication skills in English plus Dutch or French.
