We are looking for someone to strengthen our dynamic team within our Dry Mortar division , based at our location in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. As Site Industrial Operations Manager , you will play a key role in achieving our goals in sustainability and innovation, while leveraging your expertise to realize ambitious projects. Below are some of the responsibilities and skills we value: Job Description: As Site Industrial Operations Manager , you are responsible for the daily management of Holcim's production or delivery site in Sint-Peters-Leeuw. You ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the site, while respecting environmental standards and operational objectives. Your role: Leading and coordinating all operational activities on site Overseeing safety, health, and environment (HSE) – safety is your absolute priority Optimizing production processes and resource allocation Directing and motivating the local team (workers, technicians, logistics, etc.) Ensuring compliance with quality standards (ISO, CE, internal standards) Reporting operational performance (KPIs) to the Area Manager Managing stock levels, raw materials, and maintenance of installations First point of contact for local customers, suppliers, or inspection services Assisting with investment projects or improvement initiatives Your profile: Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience (preferably in a technical or industrial field) At least 8 years of experience in an operational or managerial role within industry, construction, or logistics Knowledge of production or dispatch processes is a plus (e.g., concrete plants, aggregates, cement) Strong affinity for safety and environmental care Leadership skills, problem-solving mindset, resilience under stress Good command of Dutch, French, and English Proficient with MS Office and/or industrial ERP systems (SAP is a plus) Our offer: A stimulating and innovative work environment, where you contribute every day to building a better world.
