Senior Data Analyst Client: Sector-Leading Telecommunications Company Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 1 day per week on-site) Contract Type: Freelance / Consultant Rate: €600 per day Duration: Long-term engagement Start Date: 1st April 2026 - Can wait for the right candidate Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a sector-leading telecommunications organization in Belgium. The consultant will play a key role in delivering high-impact data insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making across commercial, customer, and network domains. This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week on-site presence in Brussels. Key Responsibilities Translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Perform advanced data analysis to support strategic initiatives. Build and maintain dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data exploration. Work closely with business, IT, and data engineering teams. Define KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business objectives. Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance compliance. Present findings and recommendations to senior management. Support data-driven transformation initiatives. Required Skills & Experience Must-Have 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in complex environments. Strong SQL skills (advanced querying, optimization). Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities. Experience working with large datasets. Ability to engage directly with business stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Preferred Experience in telecommunications sector. Experience working in regulated environments. Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. Experience working in agile environments. Language Requirements Professional English required. Professional Dutch required. Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup. Proactive and solution-oriented. Strong attention to detail. Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
