We are currently looking for a freelance Legal Expert to expand our immigration team !

Job Description:

• Providing legal advice and support to companies and expats in international employment situations, with a focus on immigration and social security matters.
• Prepare and submit immigration applications (e.g. single permits, work permits, professional cards, visas, family reunification, residence permits, permanent residence, nationality).
• Project management of the immigration projects: coordinating closely with clients, expats, Be Welcome Consultants and government authorities, keeping expectations and timings aligned.
• Staying up-to-date with legislative changes.

Skills & Expertise:

• Master degree in Law (Belgium)
• Strong knowledge and/or experience in Belgian immigration & social security law.

Qualifications:

• Experience in immigration and social security
• Language skills: Dutch – French – English (fluently speaking and writing)
• Team player: willing to collaborate closely and share knowledge
• Good planning and administration skills
• Client-focused, comfortable interacting with Senior mgt levels
• Proficient with Word / Excel
• 3-5 years working experience is a plus
• Experience with expats/foreigners or having lived abroad yourself is a plus
