About the Role SANDT is looking for experienced Solution Architect to design and guide the implementation of complex, cloud-native IT solutions in a complex and regulated environment. You will define the end-to-end solution architecture, align integration approaches across systems, and embed security principles from the start. You’ll work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality implementation.
Responsibilities Own end-to-end solution architecture from business requirements through implementation and operational readiness Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solution designs Define and document architectural decisions, trade-offs, and integration strategies Design integration approaches across systems (APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware, microservices) Ensure security-by-design principles across authentication, authorization, encryption, data protection, and compliance Align solutions with enterprise architecture standards, cloud governance, and regulatory constraints Guide package integration and migration strategies (e.g., SAP, enterprise platforms) Support DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code standards Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to delivery teams and stakeholders Contribute to architecture reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes
Professional Experience Proven experience designing enterprise-grade solutions in regulated or complex environments Experience working across multiple teams, domains, and senior stakeholders Strong background in enterprise integration and distributed systems Experience aligning solution architecture with governance and compliance requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
Technical Requirements Azure (e.g., Functions, App Service, AKS, Azure SQL) Integration patterns/tools (API Management, Service Bus, REST, microservices) Java ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot) and code-quality assessment DevOps, IaC, TDD, Agile/Scrum Security-by-design (authn/authz, encryption) Nice to have: SAP S/4HANA, SharePoint Framework, Sparx Enterprise Architect
Soft Skills Excellent communication and active listening skills Strong analytical mindset and pragmatic problem-solving Ability to translate needs into clear architecture guidance and decisions Comfortable aligning multiple stakeholders and teams Proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
