Field Service Engineer

About the Role:

A role as Field Service Engineer is essential for successful installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of technical equipment or systems at customer site. This role demands technical proficiency, adept problem-solving, and effective customer communication to deliver exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:

• Be customer-centric and solution driven, addressing their questions, concerns, and technical field inquiries.
• Travel or be located to customer site to install and set up technical equipment or systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that arise and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Replace defective components and repair systems to minimize downtime
• Keep accurate records of all service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and customer interactions

Must-have:

• Passionate about IT and not afraid to roll up the sleeves
• Good communication skills in English + Dutch
• Customer oriented and a team player who likes to share knowledge with others
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products
• Constant craving for new technologies and trends!
• You are a dynamic, highly motivated, and stress-resistant problem-solver

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and support software
• Practical experience with ticketing (incident/service request), Windows/Linux environments, Active directory (OU, reset password,...), DNS, DHCP,...
• Already accumulated knowledge of the ITIL framework
