Brussels, hybrid- 3-month contract to start ASAP

As a Senior C# .NET Developer, you play a key role in the development, evolution, and maintenance of the group’s applications. You are involved throughout the entire application lifecycle, from technical analysis to production deployment, while adhering to quality standards and the defined technical architecture.

You are able to understand complex functional and technical analyses (UML, BPMN, data models), propose robust and scalable technical solutions, and ensure their implementation. You pay particular attention to code quality, performance, security, and application maintainability.

As a senior profile, you share best practices, support junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and actively participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

Role: development, design and testing

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET (C#, , .NET Core/.NET)
• Participate in the analysis of functional and technical requirements
• Propose appropriate technical solutions (architecture, performance, security)
• Develop APIs , web applications, desktop applications, or backend services
• Follow best development practices (SOLID principles, clean code, design patterns)
• Build and maintain a robust and scalable architecture
• Write testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Implement unit and integration test
• Solving issues
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs and production issues
• Refactor and improve existing applications
• Perform application monitoring and performance tuning
• Manage application lifecycle across environments (dev, test, prod)
• Collaborate with DevOps
• Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Communicate progress, risks, issues and solutions clearly

Your profile:

• You have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in C# .NET development.
• You have an excellent command of the .NET / .NET Core ecosystem, as well as development best practices.
• You are very comfortable working in Microsoft environments, particularly Azure DevOps.
• You have strong expertise in MS SQL Server databases.
• Extensive experience with WPF and/or rich interface development is an asset.
• You have solid experience in designing, developing, and maintaining both Frontend and Backend solutions.
• You apply Agile/Scrum principles and actively contribute to team rituals.
• You pay close attention to code quality, unit testing, version control, and deployment processes.
• French and /or Dutch fluent-English very good
