Cloud & Devops Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us manage the infrastructure for a banking application hosted on IBM Cloud and deployed with OpenShift and Terraform . The application must comply with IBM Financial services certification , which is based on NIST 800-53 Rev 4 requirements, so security, automation, and compliance are key aspects of the role. Responsibilities - Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on IBM Cloud using Terraform and Helm charts . - Administer and Support OpenShift clusters, ensuring scalability, security, high availability, and cost efficiency. - Implement and Enforce security best practices to comply with IBM Financial Services certification, financial regulations and customer compliance requirements . - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and applications using tools such as Dynatrace . - Automate deployment and configuration processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks. - Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices are followed in cloud deployments. - Contribute to incident management and resolution , ensuring high availability and performance of our solution. Required Skills & Experience - Strong hands-on experience with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud) and their core services - Proven experience deploying and managing production with OpenShift or Kubernetes and its ecosystem. - Expertise in Terraform including module development, state management, and infrastructure testing - Track record designing and enforcing security controls - Proficiency in automation and DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, scripting, etc.). - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic cloud environment. Nice-to-Have - Experience in a regulated financial environment . - Familiarity with IBM Cloud, Security & Compliance tools. - Experience with policy as code tools (Kyverno, OPA Gatekeeper, ..) - Familiarity with container security scanning tools - Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Grafana, DataDog, Elastic, .. - Knowledge of SIEM solutions and security monitoring tools.
