🎯 Role Overview

We're hiring a seasoned professional who sits at the crossroads of software development and information/records management for a long-term engagement in Brussels.

This is not a pure dev role... we're looking for someone who understands both the technical and strategic dimensions of managing large volumes of documents and records in a regulated environment.

🔍 What makes you the right fit:

• You have 10+ years of Java/JEE development experience on enterprise systems

• You've worked on or alongside content/records/document management platforms (OpenText Documentum, Alfresco or similar)

• You understand metadata standards, digital preservation, and information lifecycle management

• You're familiar with open data, linked data, or semantic web concepts

• You've contributed to defining policies or strategies around information management

• Agile methodologies are second nature to you

🛠️ Tech stack:

• 10+ years in Java/JEE, JavaScript, XML, HTML, SOAP/REST

• Strong Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Developer experience

• Familiarity with Oracle Weblogic, Angular, Hibernate, Eclipse

• Knowledge of UML, Design Patterns, RUP, Scrum

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, Jira) is a plus

• Exposure to ECM platforms (e.g. Documentum, Alfresco) is an advantage

🎓 Master's degree required (5-year programme or equivalent)

🌍 Languages: English (required) · French (strong asset) · Other EU languages welcome
