Production Manager

To oversee the end-to-end operational efficiency of NordiTube SE, ensuring seamless integration between production, supply chain, and logistics to deliver products on time, within cost, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Translate operational plans into detailed daily/weekly production schedules for the shop floor.
• Team Supervision: Directly supervise Production Foremen and shop floor staff, managing shifts, attendance, and performance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all production processes adhere to quality standards; investigate and resolve non-conformance issues immediately.
• Resource Management: Manage labor, machinery, and raw material usage to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforce all health and safety protocols on the shop floor; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred
• Minimum 5+ years in production management within a manufacturing plant, with experience in weaving, materials or tubing industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and HSE regulations; experience with ERP/SAP.
• Strong leadership, decisive problem-solver, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirement

Minimal travel (<5%), limited to occasional supplier visits or internal group meetings.

Industrial shop floor environment; requires wearing PPE; may involve shift work or being on-call for production emergencies.
