IT infrastructure project manager

As IT Infrastructure Project Manager you keep track of the planning, execution and delivery of the projects related to this area. Thanks to your leadership skills and technical expertise, you maintain a close collaboration with the cross-functional teams involved, resulting in the timely, efficient and successful implementation of these projects.

What will you do in this role?

• You manage the implementation of IT infrastructure projects including network upgrades, server implementations, data center expansions and system migrations.
• You’re responsible for the determination and follow up of the project planning, including scope, timelines, deliverables, resources and budget.
• Setting goals, determining success criteria and coordinating resources are necessary to fulfill your projects.
• You’re prepared for the unexpected because you identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies and emergency plans.
• A close follow up of performance indicators and the progress of your projects allows you to interfere proactively when deviations or risks arise, escalating critical issues when necessary.
• You keep your stakeholders and management informed of project status, updates and risks.
• Project evaluations help to identify the lessons learned and points for improvement.
• Since IT is continuously in motion, you keep track of new trends, technologies and best practices related to IT-infrastructure and project management.

What do we expect from you?

• You combine a Bachelor’s or master’s in information technology, ICT or other relevant studies with hands on experience as IT Project Manager, preferably focused on infrastructure.
• You have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, focused on networks, servers, data centers, …
• You are analytical and a problem solver.
• Strong communication skills are essential. Leading your project team and involving your stakeholders are what you love to do.
• You are hands on and a go getter.
• You are trilingual (English, Dutch, French).
