Global Sales Director Sheet Vinyl


ppThe bGlobal Sales Director /b will be responsible for leading and professionalizing the sales organization of a €200M business, driving sustainable growth across multiple channels and international markets. /p pThis role requires a strategic yet hands‑on leader who can balance operational excellence with long‑term vision, while fostering a high‑performing and customer‑oriented culture. Combining strategic vision with strong commercial acumen, you will act as a key ambassador of our product, fostering long‑term partnerships and guiding your team toward profitable growth. /p pYou will be managing a team of approximately 70 people, including our Customer Service team and our Sales Directors. Our HQ of Sheet Vinyl is located in Avelgem. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and implement sales strategies, processes, tools and KPIs to professionalize and scale the sales organization. /li liLead and develop an international sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial excellence. /li liOversee all sales channels including DIY/Retail, Wholesale and OEM/Industry. /li liDrive B2B and B2B2C business development strategies to maximize revenue and market share. /li liManage the customer service department, ensuring best‑in‑class service and strong collaboration with Sales. /li liPartner closely with the General Manager and other senior leaders to define and execute commercial priorities. /li liLead cross‑functional projects that support business growth and operational efficiency. /li liRepresent the company externally with professionalism and credibility at senior (EXCO/GM) level. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liProven track record in introducing effective sales processes, tools and KPI’s within a medium‑sized organization. /li liAbility to operate at the right strategic and tactical level: think big, act hands‑on. /li liStrong experience in both B2B and B2B2C selling environments. /li liDemonstrated success managing international, multi‑channel sales teams. /li liExperience managing Customer Service as part of the commercial function. /li liAble to communicate professionally in at least three languages (Dutch, English, French or German). /li liExperienced in reporting to senior executive level and managing other managers. /li liProven experience leading tender processes. /li liStrong leadership presence and gravitas to manage a senior team. /li liBackground in the industry or related sectors is a plus – know how the DIY/retail works and how to pinch them. /li liWillingness to travel approximately 30%-40% of the time. /li liExperience leading cross‑functional initiatives, good stakeholder management. /li /ul h3What can you expect? /h3 pUnilin is a fast‑growing, profitable and bustling group that is active internationally.
