Key Responsibilities:

Bad Debt Collection:

• Identify and manage overdue debts, creating a strategy for recovery.
• Contact debtors through phone calls, emails, or letters to request payment.
• Negotiate payment plans with customers who are unable to pay in full.
• Document all communication and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the finance team to process payments and manage accounts.

Litigation Collection:

• Handle cases where legal action is required to recover debts.
• Work with legal professionals, including lawyers and bailiffs, to coordinate legal procedures.
• Prepare and file claims for court proceedings or mediation.
• Monitor the progress of legal cases and ensure proper follow-up.
• Provide regular updates to management on the status of legal actions.

Who are we looking for:

• High level of Dutch and/or French, and as well English on a high level.
• Experience or interest in debt collection and negotiating payment arrangements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organizational and administrative skills to handle legal documentation and track collections.
• A proactive and customer-focused mindset.
