Job Description
Mission:
The HSE Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the energy sector. The main objective is to implement and monitor effective HSE protocols, ensure safety measures are adhered to, and mitigate environmental risks across all operational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations across company operations.
 - Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective or preventive measures when necessary.
 - Develop, update, and enforce HSE procedures and policies aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
 - Conduct safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for personnel involved in operations.
 - Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and accidents to identify root causes and provide recommendations for improvement.
 - Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and verify it meets compliance standards.
 - Liaise with company stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure clear communication of HSE objectives and requirements.
 - Monitor environmental impacts of operations and ensure proactive measures for waste management and emissions reduction.
 
Profile:
- Background in engineering, health and safety, or a similar relevant field specific to the energy sector.
 - Proven understanding of HSE standards, regulations, and practices related to energy operations.
 - Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HSE protocols in both office and on-site environments.
 - Strong technical knowledge of safety procedures in energy production, transmission, or other related areas.
 - Competent in performing root cause analysis and implementing mitigation measures for reported incidents.
 
Software:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
