Job title: Senior Production Data Engineer – Logging & Monitoring
Brussels, Belgium (50% Hybrid)
Contract until Nov 2026
Join the Logging & Monitoring Squad within a leading banking environment, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance of mission-critical applications.
Tech & Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Logging: Dynatrace, IBM Netcool (Operation Insights), ELK (Log as a Service), Sysdig, IBM Cloud Logs
Event & Incident Management: EVM, INC processes
Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, API integrations
Cloud/Infrastructure: IT Cloud, IBM dMZR As Code (nice to have)
ITIL / ITSM practices
Tool integration, optimisation & troubleshooting
Define standards aligned with Fortis & Group compliance
You'll act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders (ITG, BP²I), drive automation, explore emerging technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced Agile squad.
Languages: English + Dutch or French (active knowledge required)
Occasional travel to Paris
Ideal for senior Infrastructure / Production Engineers with strong observability and automation expertise in regulated environments.
