SALES MANAGER - HVAC


Our client is a well-established distributor of technical equipment serving tertiary-sector construction and renovation projects. Due to a planned retirement, they are looking to appoint a new Sales Manager to lead and structure their commercial team. As Sales Manager, you will take the lead of a team of 7 people (6 Account Managers and 1 Inside Sales). Your core responsibility will be to bring structure, strategic vision, and a strong performance culture to the team. You will shift the team's focus toward a hunter mindset and help them grow into high-performing sales professionals. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement a clear and structured commercial strategy. Drive transformation by instilling a proactive, “hunter”-oriented culture within the team. Ensure firm and result-driven leadership, with clarity and consistency. Be present in the field, actively supporting your salespeople during client visits and key account meetings. Act as a bridge between your team and key stakeholders such as installers, engineering offices, and technical consultants. Senior leadership experience managing sales teams (minimum 5–7 years). A natural structurer and people leader, capable of implementing vision and discipline. Experience in change management is a strong asset. Perfect bilingual proficiency in Dutch and French is mandatory. Background in technical environments (e.g., working with installers or engineering firms) is highly valued. You are results-oriented, field-driven, and strategically minded.
