Quality Assurance Manager


Key Responsibilities

Portfolio, Programme and Project Support

  • Provide administrative support to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings
  • Use recommended portfolio, programme and project control tools for planning, scheduling and tracking
  • Set up and maintain project documentation
  • Prepare, compile and distribute reports
  • Provide guidance on project management methods, tools, processes and best practices

Organisational Capability Developme

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in skills, processes and technologies
  • Conduct maturity and performance assessments
  • Analyse organisational strengths and weaknesses
  • Prioritise improvement initiatives and plan their implementation
  • Support teams in continuous improvement activiti

IT Transition and Assura
nce

  • Contribute to the development of Service Transition strategies, plans and policies
  • Provide Transition Planning and Support guidance to programmes and projects
  • Ensure transition activities are planned and executed in a timely manner
  • Review and update project proposals to include transition planning and support activities
  • Support the Senior Transition and Assurance Manager in developing strategies and templates

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of progressive and relevant professional experience may compensate for the absence of a university degree

Experi
ence

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Service Management within a medium to large organisation
  • Extensive experience in Service Transition Management across multiple industries
  • Proven ability to advise on Service Management and Service Improvement practices
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in risk assessment and corrective action planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level report
    ing

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in an international environment, both civilian and/or military
  • Knowledge of NATO structures and responsibilities, including ACO and
    ACT

Certifications

  • ITIL Certification
  • PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification
