Procurement Business Analyst


About The Job
ACENSI is looking for a Procurement Business Analyst for one of their clients based in Brussels in the Energy Sector :
Context
We are looking for a Procurement Business Analyst with solid experience in Source-to-Procure (S2P) processes and hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA MM. You will join a small, dynamic Procurement Support Team, responsible for supporting and improving the organisation's digital procurement solutions, primarily Coupa, fully integrated with SAP.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in cross-functional environments, supporting end-users, optimising procurement processes, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
User & System Support
Provide day-to-day support to users of the Coupa S2P platform (buyers, requestors, back-office, controllers, management).
Collaborate closely with ICT teams for any topics related to SAP MM configuration and integrations.
Maintain procurement master data in Coupa, aligned with data in SAP S/4HANA.
Reporting & Analytics
Deliver recurrent and ad-hoc reports for Procurement Management and internal stakeholders (Excel, Power BI, Coupa Analytics).
Support ESG-related reporting when required.
Procurement Processes & Controls
Assist with SAP MM user community support and escalate complex issues to ICT when needed.
Implement and execute new procurement controls (anti-fraud, internal audit procedures, procurement policies…).
Keep procurement digital manuals, procedures and documentation up to date.
Continuous Improvement
Proactively propose enhancements to current processes and ways of working.
Contribute to optimisation of the S2P landscape (Coupa + SAP).
Participate in cross-department workshops to improve procurement efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement with a focus on S2P systems or similar technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM.
Native Dutch or French speaker, with strong understanding of the other national language.
Fluent English (spoken & written).
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking.
Should Have
Knowledge of Coupa (user experience or admin level).
Experience with SAP ECC is a plus.
Strong skills in Excel and/or Coupa Analytics.
Good structured writing skills (process descriptions, manuals, documentation).
Nice to Have
Coupa Admin certification
Experience with Power BI
Interest in ESG reporting Work Environment
Minimum 3 days per week onsite at the Brussels office (policy requirement).
Increased onsite presence expected at the start for onboarding, training, and meeting stakeholders.
Hybrid working available afterwards with remote work supported through Teams, Office 365, and company equipment.
All necessary tools provided: laptop, headset, software.
