As a Business Architect, you help define the organization's needs based on strategic frameworks, translate them into concrete projects, contribute to the development of the Business Architecture, and support change across organization, processes, and IT.
You initiate projects by creating validated project charters and ensure a smooth handover to the Project Manager and project team once projects move into the definition phase.
From the enterprise architecture perspective, you further elaborate the business architecture content through in-depth business analyses with a project- and milestone-driven focus, ensuring that the impact of the chosen strategy becomes clear and enabling the business to make informed decisions.
You involve business stakeholders in the business analyses and in validating the proposed solutions.
You align the business architecture content with the IT Solution Architecture and communicate this alignment jointly with the IT Solution Architect to the project team, ensuring that the team can deliver the intended business solution with focus and clarity.
You monitor the business architecture during project or program execution.
You coach and share knowledge with others who take on roles such as business analyst, process analyst, or functional analyst within projects.
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant business/ICT field.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Architect within a large organization and on major IT projects.
Data, information, and processes are central to this role and come naturally to you.
You have experience collaborating with various roles within project teams, as well as cross-functionally with enterprise, business, and IT architects.
You have strong communication skills.
You also possess project management skills for structuring work packages and managing their interdependencies.
You have in-depth knowledge of BPMN.
Language skills: Dutch native speaker or perfectly bilingual Dutch/French. English at a professional level. Good knowledge of French is an asset.
