Technical Writer

You will join more than 250 colleagues recognized by domestic and international partners for expertise on products such as Vehicular Systems Integration Radio Frequency (RF) Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others.

In this context, the Technical Writer should be able understand the different stages of product development and prepare the necessary documents for all the project’s reviews, including testing procedures, testing results, hardware description, and user documentation.

To attend the customer satisfaction, the technical writer is in communication with the design and the testing team to obtain deep understanding of the product functionalities and services.

As a result, he can develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards to translate complex product information into simple and complete content. He is also charged of analyzing the customer requests from specifications and various document sources and then answering with detailed data of appropriate product including references and clear information.

In order to evaluate the products, the technical writer is responsible of checking the clarity of the test procedures respecting specification and standards. With regard to obtain the quality certification, it is mandatory to evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement in coordination with the team members to maintain usability and consistency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand different stages of project and product development and draft suitable documentations (e.g., Statement of Work)
• Interface with design and testing team (electrical, electronics, mechanical, test & certification engineers) to prepare a suitable documentation under specified format
• Analyze the customer requests and provide the response in an appropriate form with detailed data including references
• Take charge of the other technical documentations (High Level Design, Low Level Design, User Manuals, Testing plan)
• Contribute to the writing of the test procedures in collaboration with the test and qualification engineer (e.g. with IVVQ engineer)
• Improve the contents of the current documents in coordination with the team members
• Ensure consistency between existing product/solution documentation and training, with support from France.

Profile:

Education

• Master degree in electronics-telecommunication or equivalent
• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in technical writing in engineering area
• The candidate should be fluent in both French and English

Knowledge and skills

Potential candidates, ideally, should have:

• Good knowledge of electrical and electronics area and understand different aspect of technology
• Interest and capacity to write and translate technical documents including all necessary details
• Be able to organize and structure documents in a coherent and precise manner
• Quick adaption on understanding of the new concepts
• Enjoy writing documents
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoints and other documentation system
• Experience in structured writing (XML-Based) and modular documentation approaches
• Structure and organize documentation according to applicable standards (S1000D / S2000M)
