High Tech Senior Solution Engineer

For an international and rapidly growing tech scale-up in the Ghent region, we are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer.

This role blends hands-on development with deep problem solving, scalable architecture design, and technical strategy. You’ll be working in a mature but fast-evolving environment where millions of requests per second are processed.

You will collaborate with global teams and world-class clients to expand and optimize a mission-critical platform that operates at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a scalable, high-performance, and modern codebase using Javascript/Typescript
• Build and maintain infrastructure via Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Cloudflare)
• Participate in architectural decisions and adopt new technologies like serverless edge computing
• Work closely with international teams to support integration and innovation
• Take an active role in problem solving, debugging, and performance optimization
• Take technical ownership and help build solutions that make a real difference

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer
• Strong interest in technical architecture, scalability, and design patterns
• Experience with cloud development and DevOps practices
• Able to work independently, but also thrive in a collaborative, international team
• Proactive mindset with a drive to take initiative and improve systems
• Passionate about clean code and innovative problem-solving
• Comfortable communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively
