Test Engineer

Machine Test Engineer - Antwerp - Freelance - On-site/Full time

For a world leading client we are looking for a Test Engineer in the field of Electromechanical Engineering.

What you'll do:

• Execute testing activities on complete machines and machine components.
• Work on-site in the Netherlands, with potential occasional travel to clients in Sweden and the US.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and validate prototypes or partial machine systems.
• Interpret compressor schematics and provide technical feedback during testing.
• Support both in-house testing and on-location client testing.

Your Profile:

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical or Technical Engineering
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, controllers, software testing and compressor elements.
• Previous experience with testing machines, running on diesel engine and electrical motors.
• Understand, know how to read and investigate circuit diagrams and wiring connections.
• Have previous experience with SCADA and LMS Test.Lab
• Comfortable reading schematics and understanding system logic.
• Fluent in Dutch and English!
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially important for customer-facing assignments
