About the Role
 - We're growing our AI team and looking for an 
AI Engineer
 with ~
2 years of experience
 who loves building things end‑to‑end. Your focus will be on 
agentic flows
 (multi‑step/ multi‑agent LLM systems) and 
predictive models
 that deliver measurable impact. You'll work closely with our software engineers, product leads and customers to turn ideas into robust, production‑grade solutions on 
Azure
.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain 
  agentic AI workflows
   (tool use, function calling, orchestration, memory, evaluation).
• Develop 
  predictive models
   (classification, regression, time series) from data ingestion to deployment.
• Implement 
  RAG pipelines
   (indexing, chunking, vector search, evaluation) and domain‑specific copilots.
• Ship 
  production APIs & services
   (FastAPI) with monitoring, testing and clear documentation.
• Own the 
  MLOps lifecycle
  : experiment tracking, model registry, CI/CD, automated testing, canary/blue‑green releases.
• Work in the 
  Azure
   ecosystem (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Azure ML, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Event‑driven services).
• Collaborate across squads, contribute reusable components, and help evolve our internal AI playbooks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years
   in an AI/ML engineering role (or strong portfolio showing equivalent impact).
• Solid with 
  Python
   and experienced in building and deploying ML/LLM applications.
• Experience building 
  LLM applications
   (prompting, tools/function calling, evaluation) 
  or
   classical ML models in production.
• Practical knowledge of 
  data pipelines
   (Pandas, SQL), 
  vector databases
   (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, FAISS), and 
  API development
   (FastAPI/Flask).
• Comfortable with 
  Git
  , 
  containers (Docker)
  , and 
  CI/CD
   (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
• Hands‑on with 
  Azure
   services or strong motivation to become an expert quickly.
• Quality mindset: testing (unit/integration), observability, performance, and security by default.
• Communicate clearly in 
  Dutch and/or English
  ; you translate business needs into technical deliveries.

Nice to have

• Multi‑agent frameworks (e.g., AutoGen, CrewAI) and agent evaluation techniques.
• Azure ML
   (pipelines, model registry), MLflow or Weights & Biases.
• Streaming/real‑time (Event Hub/Kafka), feature stores, or time‑series modeling.
• Retrieval evaluation (RAGAS), LLM guardrails, prompt/version management.
• IaC (Bicep/Terraform), Kubernetes, or serverless patterns on Azure.
