The mission
The Operational Process Coordinator supports and optimizes key processes within the Market Operations domain.
You’ll play a central role in ensuring that verification and financial settlement processes run smoothly, that changes in systems and procedures are implemented efficiently, and that operational teams are supported throughout.
This position suits someone who’s analytical, structured, and comfortable working between business operations, IT, and project management — ideal for profiles coming from PMO, process coordination, or junior project management backgrounds.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of verification and financial settlement processes for energy market products.
- Support the implementation of new procedures and tools that enhance process efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Map existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose pragmatic process improvements.
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation, work instructions, and process reporting.
- Participate in testing of new tools and process enhancements (develop test scenarios, document results, ensure quality).
- Collaborate closely with Market Operations, IT, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery of process changes.
- Contribute to data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI); support continuous monitoring of process performance.
- Provide operational support during transition phases, ensuring business continuity.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in economics, business engineering, engineering, or related field.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience, ideally in operational excellence, PMO, process improvement, or business support.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process logic.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Excel (advanced) and Power BI; knowledge of SAP, VBA, or Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Structured, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch (and a good understanding of the other).
- Eager to develop expertise in the energy sector and contribute to a sustainable, innovative future.
