Senior Construction Risk & Change Manager | Hyperscale Data Centre Build | Charleroi, Belgium
If you’re at your best when the project gets noisy - conflicting positions, constant scope pressure, tight governance - this is one of those roles where you actually matter.
We’re supporting a major hyperscale data centre build in Charleroi. It’s high-profile, fast-moving, and the Risk and Change function is central to keeping the programme under control.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning the end-to-end Early Warning, Risk and Change process across the project
- Leading EWN, risk and change meetings with stakeholders and SMEs - driving decisions, not just minutes
- Escalating submissions that breach agreed thresholds and triggers
- Managing change comms so the right people are aligned before things become “a problem”
- Keeping a clean, auditable database and change log with proper narrative and back-up
- Working with risk owners to ensure impacts and mitigations are genuinely costed and scheduled
- Producing clear reporting for monthly project packs (risk position, change status, contingency drawdown)
- Ensuring change approvals are supported with the right evidence for sign-off
- Tracking contingency versus drawdown and reporting transparently to the Owner
What we’re looking for
- Strong, hands-on ownership of risk and change on large, complex construction projects (mission critical / data centre experience is a strong plus)
- Comfortable with governance and detail, but pragmatic enough to keep momentum
- Confident stakeholder management - able to hold a line when it matters
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- You must already have the legal right to work in Belgium (no sponsorship)
- Based in Belgium or willing to relocate
