Job Opportunity: Senior GIS Specialist Location: Brussels, Belgium About the Role We are seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to join the ICT department at our client, contributing to GIS system development and geodata integration. You will work within the GIS competence center , collaborating closely with development and cloud teams to optimize GIS APIs for applications and e-portals. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain GIS systems . Perform coding, testing, and debugging efficiently. Take a leading role in Agile development methodologies . Work with geocoding, vector/raster formats, and database queries . Ensure compliance with ITIL standards. Collaborate with teams to integrate ArcGIS web services and Geocortex workflows . Required Skills & Experience 2+ years in Geocortex and workflow development . Strong GIS knowledge and ArcGIS web development experience. Expertise in ArcGIS Server installation/configuration (Windows). Proficiency in SQL, Python scripting, and JavaScript frameworks . Familiarity with SOA, REST, GitHub, and Jira .
