Operations Director Benelux

Reporting to the Executive Director of Astek Europe, you will define and lead the commercial development strategy for Astek Belgium, Astek Netherlands and Astek Luxembourg. You will build your career within the Group with each success you achieve.


Your mission (… If you choose to accept it!)

  • Define and oversee the operational and commercial strategy for your scope, in line with Group objectives.
  • Manage and develop a team of recruiters, managers and consultants, ensuring their skills progression and collective success.
  • Run the profit centre by optimising resources and guaranteeing economic and operational performance.
  • Supervise the implementation of structured offers and ensure satisfaction among major accounts (GAM).
  • Monitor key projects, control deliverable quality and anticipate operational risks.
  • Be a role model, embodying the Group’s values and inspiring your teams.


Your day-to-day will be shaped by:

  • Strategic and operational management: tracking performance indicators, resource optimisation and profit centre control.
  • Leadership and management: guiding managers and consultants, developing skills, monitoring individual and collective objectives.
  • Major account management: building relationships and loyalty with strategic clients (including those for whom the Group is already a listed supplier), tracking critical projects and coordinating commercial and technical teams.
  • Business development in collaboration with other Group entities (near-shore and off-shore)
  • Offer and project development: structuring tailored offers, mobilising internal expertise, anticipating client needs.
  • Management of complex projects: overseeing deadlines, deliverable quality, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Reporting and communication: preparing operational and financial reports, presenting to Management, participating in steering committees.
  • Continuous improvement and innovation: identifying optimisation opportunities, sharing best practices, implementing new working methods.

  • Active participation in the monthly Steering Committee of Astek Europe IT Service.


Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s degree (engineering or business school), you have solid experience in IT project management or within an ESN (IT services company).
  • You have already managed managers, recruiters, multidisciplinary teams and successfully led activities involving over 200 consultants.
  • You are proficient in coordinating complex projects and developing profit centers.
  • Results-oriented, capable of making strategic decisions and managing multiple priorities in a complex environment.
  • You demonstrate rigour, exemplary conduct and vision, all while maintaining a collaborative and cross-functional approach.
  • You are fluent in both English and French. Proficiency in Dutch is a valued bonus.
