Freelance Business Analyst

Candidate must hold an an EU Nationality to obtain the Security Clearance

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business/Functional Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure functional alignment and support the smooth delivery of ongoing developments and enhancements across key systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements
• Analyse current processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams
• Ensure that all developments align with operational and strategic goals
• Support system enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in the planning and execution of testing and validation phases
• Participate in regular coordination meetings and provide updates to internal stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as Business Analyst or Functional Analyst role
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with both agile and traditional project methodologies
• Good experience with UML, BPMN
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation processes
• 3 days per week onsite presence is required for this role
